On top of the scan it adds daily looksmaxxing exercises with streak tracking, an "Ascension Stack" personalized improvement protocol, a 3D face scan with progress tracking over time, and an AI coach with an education center. It's distributed through the MWM.ai app-publishing platform, the same platform behind the already-covered PSL AI-Jawmax, Mogged, and Attractiveness Test - AI Rate apps.

Apple's own listing shows 4.8 out of 5 stars from roughly 3,700 ratings, a substantial review base for this category, confirmed directly via Apple's iTunes Lookup API. A separate MWM aggregator page for the same app shows a different, higher figure (4.7/5.7K).

The two sources disagree on the exact count, so treat the direct App Store number as the more current one and this discrepancy as unresolved rather than picking a figure to favor either app.

The presence of multiple, differently-priced listings for what read as the same tier (several separate "yearly" entries, for instance) mirrors a pricing-catalog pattern documented on several other apps in this comparison set.

Mogalytics has exactly one price, shown on every page and at checkout: a $12 one-time unlock with unlimited use afterward — no free tier at all, in either direction.

Ascension's own App Store listing states plainly: "Every scan runs in under a second, on your device, so your photos never leave your phone." Its own privacy policy, at ascensionapp.org/privacy-policy, discloses a more specific breakdown.

Genuinely kept on-device: 3D face-mesh geometry and depth point-cloud data (both stored in the app's sandboxed Documents directory) and the side-profile photograph. Separately disclosed as leaving the device: "front profile photographs...transmitted...to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)" for processing, along with the derived numerical facial metrics, sent to "GCP Cloud Functions."

The policy adds that server-side images are "not permanently retained on our servers after processing is complete" — a real limit on exposure, but still a server round-trip the "never leave your phone" headline claim doesn't mention. The policy also states the service is restricted to users 18 years of age or older, matching Mogalytics's own 18+-only design rather than differing from it.

Mogalytics never sends a camera frame — front, side, or otherwise — to a server on any device, for any tier, free or paid. There's no named exception, because there's no server call to make one on.

Ascension's feature set goes further than a single score: daily exercises, a personalized "Stack" protocol, progress-tracked 3D scans, and an AI coach make it closer to an ongoing coaching product than a single-reading tool. Mogalytics instead reports six named geometry ratios (canthal tilt, jaw ratio, cheek ratio, midface, bridge, and symmetry) over a 30-frame trimmed-mean window, with no coaching plan, exercise program, or ongoing subscription attached.

Both are legitimate but differently-scoped products. Neither company's number is objective attractiveness, and Mogalytics makes no claim about the accuracy of Ascension's clinical-metric scoring.
