Because these are separate listings, not one app under two names, a review of one tells you nothing about another. Check the developer name in the App Store before installing, and don't assume a rating for one listing applies to a different one that happens to share a name.

One of the three, "Mogged: Glow Up for Men" (App Store listing id6748418458, published by Metellus Productions LLC under app studio MWM), has its own marketing site at moggedupapp.com — confirmed by the matching App Store link on both. That site's own copy reads "Free to scan. Your rank is waiting," meaning the initial AI scan itself is free and the paywall sits behind the ongoing tracking/glow-up-plan features.

One detailed 2026 review lists a one-off scan at $6.99, a weekly subscription around $3.99, and an annual plan at $79.99, sourced from Mogged's own comparison page at the time — while noting pricing "A/B-tests constantly and differs by region."

A second, independently-checked data point disagrees: the "Glow Up for Men" listing's own site (moggedupapp.com) currently shows $9.99/month or $49.99/year instead, with the scan itself free. The mismatch is itself the lesson — treat whatever paywall screen you're actually shown as authoritative over any cited figure, including this one.

Mogalytics has exactly one price: a $12 one-time unlock, the same for everyone, with no subscription tier and no A/B-tested paywall.

The core Mogged scan requires uploading a selfie for the AI to analyze. One variant advertises on-device processing as a differentiator — described by an independent review as "a real privacy plus in a category that mostly ignores the question," which implies most apps in this category do upload photos to a server by default.

Mogalytics never uploads a photo, video frame, or landmark for any of its six measurements. The reading runs entirely inside your own browser via on-device MediaPipe landmark detection — there is no server-side scan to opt out of.

The same review describes the underlying business loop plainly: "scan → flaw list → protocol → rescan," with the revenue "in return visits" because the app is "engineered never to say done." That's a structural observation about the product category, not a claim Mogalytics can verify about any one app's internals.

The reviewer also offers a warning worth repeating regardless of which app you use: if a rating app is making you avoid mirrors, cameras, or people, that's a signal to stop and talk to someone who knows you offline — not a problem another scan will fix.
