The same app is cross-listed on Google Play as "Hiface - Face Shape Detector." Review aggregators tracking that listing report a lower 3.81-star average across a much larger install base — attributed to review aggregators, not independently confirmed by this operator.

Its App Store in-app purchase list shows seven differently named, overlapping tiers rather than one clear price: Premium Weekly ($4.99), Weekly Plan ($5.99), Premium Monthly ($9.99), Yearly Package ($19.99), Annual Plan ($39.99), and Premium Yearly ($49.99), plus a separate Extra Analysis Credit ($1.99). A 3-day free trial is offered that converts to a paid plan.

Mogalytics has exactly one price everywhere: a $12 one-time unlock, no tier to choose between, no trial that auto-converts, and no per-scan credit to buy separately.

One App Store reviewer wrote that scanning your face again costs an additional two dollars and "this is NOT clear from the beginning." Hiface's own developer replied in that review thread, agreeing they "should've been clearer about the extra charge for additional scans" — a rare case of the developer confirming the complaint rather than disputing it.

Other reviewers question whether a subscription running up to $40-50 a year is justified for what one described as a basic face-shape estimate, and one reported the hairstyle suggestions didn't match what the app itself recommended.
