Looking for a Face Rating AI: Beauty Score alternative? One reviewer calls its "free lifetime" offer a bait and switch.

Face Rating AI: Beauty Score's own App Store reviews include a reviewer reporting that an advertised free lifetime offer didn't actually exist inside the app, and a separate reviewer describing heavy ads before that same free offer could even be claimed. Here's what's documented, and an honest account of how Mogalytics's one-time, on-device model differs.

What Face Rating AI: Beauty Score actually is

Face Rating AI: Beauty Score (developer Hung Do) scans an uploaded photo to return a face rating score. Its App Store listing shows a 3.5-star rating from 58 ratings — a lower rating and a much smaller review base than most other apps covered on this site.

What Face Rating AI: Beauty Score costs

Its App Store in-app purchase list shows ten differently priced or duplicate-named listings: a $0.00-labeled "Premium Lifetime Access (Free)" entry, three separate purchases all named "BestLook Premium Plan" ($5.99, $19.99, and $39.99), a "BestLook Premium" ($7.99), two more listings simply named "Premium Plan" ($19.99 and $29.99), a "Glow-Up Toolkit" in monthly ($24.99) and yearly ($49.99) tiers, and a "Best Look Premium (Lifetime)" purchase at $99.99.

Mogalytics has exactly one price everywhere: a $12 one-time unlock, no free-labeled listing that turns out not to be the actual free tier, and no lifetime purchase eight times that price.

What its own App Store reviews say

One reviewer, in a review titled "Glitchy - bait and switch?", wrote: "Advertised lifetime subscription for a limited time… attempted to claim, there is no lifetime option within the app." A separate reviewer, in a review titled "Poorly designed", wrote: "This app was offering lifetime free today on AppsGoneFree, but was showing so many ads before getting to the place to claim the offer."

Mogalytics never uploads a photo, video frame, or landmark, and never advertises a free offer that isn't the actual product. The same six geometry measurements run in your browser on a 30-frame trimmed-mean window, and one flat $12 price means there's no promotional "free lifetime" claim to chase through a wall of ads.

Where Mogalytics actually differs

  • No photo, video frame, or landmark is ever uploaded — the whole reading runs in your browser.
  • One flat $12, one time. No "free lifetime" promotion that turns out to require a separate $99.99 purchase.
  • Six documented geometry measurements behind the composite reading, disclosed once, not ten overlapping or duplicate-named purchase listings to compare.
  • No ad wall between the offer and the product.

What it doesn't do: guarantee a specific score, replace a live duel, or claim objective attractiveness. It's a private setup-testing instrument, not a subscription rating service. See the practice guide for what it actually measures.
