Looking for a PSL Face Rating alternative? One reviewer says they were billed again after canceling.

Looksmaxxing - PSL Face Rating's own App Store reviews include a reviewer reporting a charge a month after canceling, and a separate reviewer calling the scan non-functional. Here's what's documented, and an honest account of how Mogalytics's one-time, on-device model differs.

What PSL Face Rating actually is

Looksmaxxing - PSL Face Rating (developer Prodigy AI) scans an uploaded selfie to return a PSL-style face score and appearance advice. Its App Store listing shows a 4.5-star rating from roughly 846 ratings.

"PSL" is looksmaxxing-community shorthand for a subjective 1-10 attractiveness scale; the app frames its output in that same terminology.

What PSL Face Rating costs

Its App Store in-app purchase list shows at least seven differently priced or duplicate-named listings rather than one clear price: two separate purchases both simply labeled "Weekly" ($5.99 and $3.99), a third Weekly at $3.99, a Monthly ($9.99), a Yearly ($29.99), and two separately named upgrades — LooksMax Supercharge Premium and LooksMaxxing Premium — both listed at $3.99.

Mogalytics has exactly one price everywhere: a $12 one-time unlock, no tier to choose between and no duplicate-named purchase to tell apart.

What its own App Store reviews say

One reviewer wrote: "I canceled the subscription. However, a month later I was charged again, and now I've received another charge from them" — a post-cancellation billing complaint, not a pricing-structure critique.

A separate reviewer described the app as not functioning at all: "Doesn't work at all. As in it literally doesn't do anything… not that I didn't like its advice (there was none because it doesn't do anything)." A third reported it "gave me ratings but zero words ab appearance," with no explanation behind the number.

Mogalytics never uploads a photo, video frame, or landmark. The scoring math runs in your browser and the same six geometry measurements are documented on the practice guide, so there's no unexplained number and no subscription to be re-billed on.

Where Mogalytics actually differs

  • No photo, video frame, or landmark is ever uploaded — the whole reading runs in your browser.
  • One flat $12, one time. No subscription, so nothing to cancel and nothing to be re-billed on.
  • Six documented geometry measurements behind the composite reading, not an unexplained number.
  • A 30-frame trimmed-mean window built to reduce single-scan noise, not a single-selfie snapshot.

What it doesn't do: guarantee a specific score, replace a live duel, or claim objective attractiveness. It's a private setup-testing instrument, not a subscription rating service. See the practice guide for what it actually measures.
