Practice guide

Looking for a ChadMe alternative? Here's what it actually costs, uploads, and who it's rated for.

ChadMe is a free-to-download app that gives a preview face rating before asking for payment — a genuinely different pattern from most of this category. Here's what its own App Store listing says it costs, uploads, and is rated for, and an honest account of how Mogalytics's one-time, on-device, adults-only model differs.

What ChadMe actually is

ChadMe (App Store listing: "ChadMe AI: Face Rater & Ascend," developer Itzik Efraim) is a free download that scores an uploaded selfie on a PSL-style 1-10 scale with per-trait breakdowns for jawline, eyes, skin, hair, symmetry, and frame, alongside extra modes such as Ascend (a "maxed-out preview"), Roast, Voice Rizz, Celebrity Match, and Hairstyle Try-On.

Independent 2026 roundups of face-rating apps single it out as a pick for "most people" specifically because it shows a real rating up front, before any payment — a different pattern from the free-scan-then-blur approach several other apps in this category use.

What ChadMe costs

The app is free to download and includes a preview scan. Its own App Store listing shows ChadMe Pro priced at $19.99/month or $89.99/year for full ratings, detailed per-trait scores, and the extra modes, plus a separate ladder of one-time "credit" purchases: $0.99 for 50 credits, up to $59.99 for 15,000 credits.

Mogalytics has exactly one price: a $12 one-time unlock, the same for everyone, with no monthly or yearly subscription and no separate credit-pack purchases layered on top.

A 13+ age rating, on a duel format built for adults

ChadMe's App Store listing carries a 13+ age rating. Mogalytics makes no claim about whether that rating suits ChadMe's own content or audience — that's the developer's call. But it's a real, sourced difference worth naming plainly.

Mogalytics is built and disclosed as 18+ only on every page of this site, positioned specifically as a practice instrument for adults preparing for a duel format like Omoggle, not a rating tool aimed at a younger audience.

Free preview, paid Pro: where the photo goes

ChadMe's listing describes the flow as taking a selfie to receive ratings and analysis — the photo is sent off-device for scoring, the same server-side pattern described generally on why most face-rating apps are free.

Its own site includes a fair accuracy caveat: "AI face rating is an estimate based on visible photo traits. Lighting, angle and expression can affect the result, so use the breakdown as consistent feedback rather than a final verdict."

Mogalytics never uploads a photo, video frame, or landmark for any of its six measurements. The reading runs entirely inside your own browser via on-device MediaPipe landmark detection — there is no server-side scan and no credit pack to buy more of it.

Where Mogalytics actually differs

  • No photo, video frame, or landmark is ever uploaded — the whole reading runs in your browser.
  • One flat $12, one time. No monthly billing, no yearly billing, no separate credit-pack purchases.
  • Built and disclosed as an 18+-only product, not a 13+-rated one.
  • No Roast, Celebrity Match, or coaching-adjacent entertainment modes — just six named geometry measurements you can inspect yourself, using a 30-frame trimmed-mean window built to reduce single-scan noise.

What it doesn't do: replace a live duel, diagnose anything, or guarantee a specific score. It's a private setup-testing instrument, not an entertainment or coaching app. See the practice guide for what it actually measures.
