Practice guide

Looking for a MogScore alternative? Here's its free-preview retention and its paid third-party AI upload.

MogScore bundles a free-then-subscription photo rater, paid glow-up reports, and styling try-on tools, plus a named "Omoggle Practice" camera-check feature. Here's exactly what its own site says about pricing, data handling, and scope, and an honest account of how Mogalytics differs.

What MogScore actually is

MogScore (mogscore.ai) scores a 0-10 "MogScore" from an uploaded or captured photo across face structure, eyes/expression, nose/mouth, camera setup, and photo quality, then offers a paid "AI Glow-Up Blueprint" report plus AI hairstyle, hair-color, beard, and glasses try-on tools. Its own site also describes a dedicated feature for checking your camera setup "before an Omoggle-style session."

That last part places it, at least partly, in the same practice-tool category as OmoggleMog and SnapMog — but it's one feature inside a wider photo-rating-and-glow-up product, not a single-purpose instrument the way Mogalytics is.

What MogScore costs

Its own pricing page lists a Free plan ($0, 5 credits after sign-in, "good for a first preview"), a Plus plan ($8.90/month, 120 credits/month), and a Pro plan ($18.90/month, 350 credits/month). An AI Glow-Up Blueprint report costs 10 credits and an AI hairstyle generation costs 5 credits; subscriptions are described as optional, cancellable at period end.

As of this writing, MogScore's own pricing page marks both the Plus and Pro plans "Coming soon — Product setup pending" — so today, only its Free plan is actually purchasable; the $8.90/$18.90 tiers are its stated future pricing, not a live charge yet.

Mogalytics has exactly one price, shown on every page and at checkout: a $12 one-time unlock with unlimited use afterward — no credits, no monthly plan, and no subscription to cancel.

On-device scoring, but the photo itself is still held

Credit where it's due: MogScore's own privacy policy states raw facial landmarks, face mesh geometry, and blendshape coefficients "are never stored on any server and are never transmitted outside your browser" — the free score computation itself runs locally.

The photo is a separate matter, by the same policy's own words: unpaid preview photos are "automatically deleted after 7 days," while "paid report photos are retained until you delete the associated report or the photo itself."

Paid reports go further still — they're "powered by an AI provider that receives... the paid report photo" to generate the written blueprint, meaning the actual image leaves the browser and reaches a third-party AI processor. Mogalytics never uploads a frame or photo anywhere, on the free path or the paid one, for any length of time.

Where Mogalytics actually differs

  • Six facial-geometry ratios over a 30-frame trimmed-mean window from a live camera feed, not an uploaded photo scored across five general dimensions.
  • One public $12 price, unlimited afterward — no free tier, no credits, and no $8.90-$18.90/month subscription to track or cancel.
  • No photo or frame is ever uploaded, held for a retention window, or sent to a third-party AI provider — MogScore's own policy discloses both of the latter for its paid path.
  • A single-purpose practice instrument — no hairstyle, hair-color, beard, or glasses try-on tools, and no glow-up treatment plan of any kind.

What it doesn't do: replace a live duel, diagnose anything, or guarantee a specific score. See the practice guide for what the six measurements actually are.
