What Lookist actually is
Lookist ("Lookist: Looksmax Face Rating", App Store id6761900385) is developed by Muhammad Odie Syahputra. Its own listing describes AI analysis of an uploaded photo across "15 individual metrics" — jawline, symmetry, skin quality, canthal tilt, facial harmony, and more — each rated out of 10, with a personalized improvement routine attached.
Its App Store listing shows 4.6 out of 5 stars from 316 ratings as of this writing — a real, sizeable user base, distinct from every other app id already covered on this site.
Five overlapping prices, and a cloud-stored photo
Its own App Store listing shows five separate in-app purchase tiers rather than one clear price: a "Face Analysis Pro - Weekly" at $9.99, a "Lookist Pro" at $11.99, a second, identically-named "Lookist Pro" at $34.99, a "Lookist Pro Yearly" at $49.99, and a differently-branded "Attractiveness Test - Annual" at $39.99.
Its own published privacy policy states uploaded photos are "stored securely on Cloudflare R2 with signed URLs that expire," retained "as long as your account is active" so progress can be tracked across sessions. Deleting a photo session removes it immediately; deleting the account triggers permanent deletion within 30 days, not instantly.
The same policy states photos are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis, "processed in memory, then discards them," routed through OpenRouter, and are explicitly "not used for AI model training" or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Separately, though, Lookist's own App Store privacy label discloses that the app tracks identifiers and usage data for third-party advertising and collects contact information and purchase history linked to user identity — a disclosure the privacy-policy page alone doesn't mention.

Where Mogalytics actually differs
- A continuous live-camera reading settled over 30 frames, not a single uploaded photo stored on a cloud server.
- No frame or photo ever leaves the browser — no Cloudflare R2 storage, no Gemini round-trip, no OpenRouter relay.
- A single $12 one-time unlock versus five overlapping purchase tiers to compare — no duplicate-named listings, no ad tracking to opt out of.
What it doesn't do: replace a live duel, diagnose anything, or guarantee a specific score. See the practice guide for what the six measurements actually are.
