Molecule to Slayer: what a face-duel tier actually means.

Anyone who's spent time around live face-rating duels has seen the tier names before a number even loads: Molecule, Sub3, LTN, Chad, Slayer. Here's what each one covers as a composite-score band, where the vocabulary comes from, and why a tier label is a snapshot of one setup, not a verdict on you.

The eight tiers, low to high

Mogalytics maps its own 0–10 composite score onto eight bands, using the same tier vocabulary the wider looksmaxxing/PSL community already uses for this style of rating:

  • Molecule — below 2.0
  • Sub3 — 2.0 to 3.5
  • LTN (Low-Tier Normie) — 3.5 to 5.0
  • MTN (Mid-Tier Normie) — 5.0 to 6.0
  • HTN (High-Tier Normie) — 6.0 to 7.0
  • Chadlite — 7.0 to 8.0
  • Chad — 8.0 to 9.0
  • Slayer — 9.0 and above

Most first-time readings land in the MTN–HTN middle of that range — that's the bell-curve center, not a bad result. See the practice guide for what actually moves a reading from one band into the next.

Where these labels come from

Sub3, LTN, MTN, HTN, Chadlite, and Chad come from the wider looksmaxxing/PSL (Potential Sexual Life) scale community's own vocabulary, used across many independent rating guides that predate Mogalytics. Molecule and Slayer are the bottom- and top-band labels commonly attached to results on live face-rating duels such as Omoggle. Mogalytics is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Omoggle, and applies this same familiar eight-tier vocabulary to its own composite score so a reading has a recognizable name — not to claim exact 1:1 parity with any third party's actual tier thresholds or algorithm, and not to claim any of these terms as a Mogalytics invention.

A tier is a snapshot, not a verdict

The same face can land in different tiers minutes apart, because the composite it's built from is camera-sensitive — distance, angle, light, and expression all move it, as covered in the breakdown of why scores swing between scans. A single Molecule or Sub3 reading usually means the setup needs work, not that the tier is a ceiling. Readings are camera-sensitive geometry estimates, not objective attractiveness, identity, medical, or cosmetic advice, and no tier or setup guarantees a specific score or a win on a live third-party service.

Find your most reproducible tier before you go live

Since a tier shifts with setup, the useful move is finding the framing, light, and pose that puts you in your best reproducible band consistently — then tracking that across sessions instead of chasing one lucky scan. Mogalytics keeps every saved reading local to your browser so you can see which tier you actually hold under pressure, not just the best one you've seen once.
